The forces of racism, injustice and environmental destruction seem stronger than ever, but we are also entering a new phase of awareness and activism.

How can we make our movement succeed? The answer to that question is voiced again and again: "We must unite to succeed."

Global Action Connection is a tool that will unify our efforts, coordinate our actions, increase participation, focus resources and accelerate progress.

Global Action Connection (GAC) will provide current, relevant and actionable information in support of actions locally and around the world. Through its features and design, GAC will support and increase public engagement, help organizations communicate and coordinate with each other and offer powerful tools to its members, contributors and sponsors.

Organizations and individuals fighting for justice are hampered by their relative isolation from one another.  GAC will create strategic connections within and between different organizations' areas of focus that will increase their overall effectiveness.

Public engagement begins with awareness and access. Global Action Connection will offer the public one-stop shopping for causes, organizations, events and actions.  

  • Contributors will be trusted, vetted individuals and organizations
  • Postings and links will be current and up-to-date
  • The site, contributor-supplied items and related blogs and forums will be monitored by editorial staff and by the users themselves
  • Social media elements will support networking, connection and coordination between users and with organizations world-wide
  • Registered Users can construct their own home pages with the organizations and causes that interest them and updates on what matters most to them
  • A robust and sophisticated search capability will support user-directed queries

​GAC will provide a single point of entry into an extensive set of relevant action-oriented information that is personalized, well-organized, easily navigated, carefully vetted and linked to the vast array of supportive materials available on the World Wide Web.

  • Alert users of actions and campaigns locally and globally
Participation by users and contributors will be free, but funding the construction of the site will require the support of our Sponsors.
